Location
Villa Alexandra belongs to the uppermost row of buildings on the villas slope of Aghia Triada.
At the slope's foot, the country road from Aghia Triada runs to the village of Adele (3 kms) where it meets the road from  Rethymnon to Arkadi Monastery.
In Adele there is: a baker's, a butcher's shop, a small supermarket, tavernas, kafenions and some other shops.

Public busses connect Adele to the city (another 8 kms) several times per day.
From Adele, another road runs northwards to the coast and to Adelianos Campos (another 3 kms).
Down here the big hotels of the region row up, and during the tourism season a variety of shops and restaurants are open.
There is an hourly public bus service to Rethymnon as well as to Iraklion (from here 76 kms), during the season every 30 minutes.

Iraklion airport is 88 kms from Aghia Triada, Hania airport 75 kms. With respect to the National Road's winding character, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
